Shipping within Australia

Banjos Bead House uses Australia Post to deliver your products. The cost of shipping is calculated for your total order as items are added to the shopping cart. Shipping timelines apply to the time taken by Australia Post to deliver an item once it has been dropped off at the post office. When viewing your shopping cart you will have 4 shipping options available:

  • Parcel Post  – this option provides a unique tracking number and standard delivery. As per current Australia Post advice* this option usually takes 2 to 4 business days but can take up to 9 business days depending on which state or territory it is being delivered to.
  • Express Post  – this option provides a unique tracking number and express delivery. As per current Australia Post advice* this option usually takes 1 to 2 business days (same state) or 1 to 3 business days (Interstate) but can take up to 6 business days depending on which state or territory it is being delivered to.
  • Collect in Store (Free) – select this option if you would like to collect your order from our retail store at Oatlands, NSW. Please wait until you receive an email advising your order is ready before coming to the store to collect.
  • Add to my order - select this option if you would like to add something to an order you have just or recently placed. Before selecting this option check your original order status online. If your order is on hold / pick / pending pickup then you can place a new order using Add to my Order and list your current order number in the delivery comments of the new order.

Order Picking and Packing:

Orders are generally picked, packed and posted same day if received by 12 noon on a day the retail store is open or otherwise within 1-2 working days. If any delays are experienced our staff will contact you within 48 hours of you placing your order unless we have previously advised that the retail store will be closed.

Orders are picked and packed in the order that they are received. If you need your order urgently you can select one of the following options and we will place your order on the top of the pack for picking and packing, Australia Post conditions as noted above still apply for their delivery.

  • Parcel Post - Priority Pack
  • Express Post - Priority Pack 

 

Backorders - If orders contain backordered items they will be held and shipped together with the backordered items once they arrive in store.

Small orders - If you believe your order will fit into a 122 x 172mm x 12mm PostPak you can select "Collect in Store" and contact the store to pay postage via direct transfer or save your order as a quote and email to us and we will add postage and return to you for payment. PostPak cost is $4.00. Express Post is not available for PostPak. Insurance is also not available on PostPak so orders will be sent at your own risk. PostPak delivery times may be longer that that advised for Parcel Post.

 

Shipping Discounts

Goods over the value of AUS $110 and purchased via this website are eligible for shipping discounts. Further discounts apply for orders over AU$170. Discounts will be automatically calculated and applied at checkout.

This offer does not apply to custom designs, wholesale, repairs, orders prepared as a quote or special pricing customers.

 

Shipping outside of Australia

We ship internationally. The cost of shipping is calculated for your total order as items are added to the shopping cart. When viewing your shopping cart you will have the following option available:

International – Standard Post  - Items will be shipped via Air Mail using Australia Post – items may take 10 – 14 working days to arrive

Orders are generally processed and posted same day if received on a day the retail store is open or otherwise within 1-2 working days. If orders contain backordered items they will be held until the backordered items are available. If any delays are experienced our staff will contact you within 48 hours of you placing your order.

Some orders may incur a customs or import duty charge in the purchaser’s country. These charges will need to be paid by you on delivery of your order – we are unable to pay these charges on your behalf up front.

Orders cannot be returned to sender.  If you do not pay shipping charges, we cannot be responsible for any loss of money as a result.

We are unable to mark international orders as a gift.

Shipping costs for returns & exchanges are at the expense of the purchaser.

 

Collect in Store

Banjos Bead House provides a Collect in Store option for internet orders.

All Collect in Store orders will be ready for pickup within 24 hours of order placement if placed on a day the retail store is open.  Other orders will usually be available within 24 - 48 hours from time of ordering.

You will be advised by email when your order is ready to collect. Please wait until you receive an email before coming to the store to collect.

If any delays are experienced our staff will contact you within 48 hours of you placing your order.

Unless prior arrangement is made orders must be picked up within 7 days of ordering. Anyone not able to pick up their order within this period is expected to contact Banjos Bead House to make alternate arrangements.

Unclaimed orders will fall under the guidelines and time frame of our returns policy.

 

Tracking

BBH uses trackable postage and advises customers of Australia Post tracking details in the Order on the Way email sent at the time of dispatch. This email contains a copy of your invoice and a clickable link to Australia Post for you to be able to track your order. 

Parcels are scanned by Australia Post upon receipt. Customers should contact Australia Post directly in regards to shipping progress or parcels that are delayed or not delivered. For tracking information contact Australia post: https://auspost.com.au/mypost/track/#/search

 

Postal Insurance

BBH does not accept responsibility for parcels that are not delivered by Australia Post. It is recommended that customers take out Extra Cover postal insurance. To arrange payment for Extra Cover insurance please email BBH when you place your order.
