Blue and Green

They say “blue and green should never be seen”… but we’ve never been very good at following the rules!

For centuries, blue and green have been wrapped in a little folklore and superstition, with the old saying warning that the two colours should never be worn together. Whether it came from fashion, sailors, or simply the idea that the colours of sea and sky shouldn’t compete, its true origins have become a little lost to time.

Paula has decided it’s time to challenge the folklore and prove that blue and green absolutely should be seen! So, challenge accepted — Lynda has been busy gathering an eclectic collection of blue and green beads, components and other treasures for Paula to play with during the October Live session.

What will she create? At this stage, your guess is as good as ours! But with a box full of blues and greens to inspire her, we’re looking forward to seeing where the challenge takes her.
