6mm Golden Tiger Eye Round Beads - 38cm Strand Golden Tiger Eye is a naturally occurring variety of Tiger Eye displaying warm golden yellow, honey, caramel and golden-brown tones. Its distinctive silky appearance is created by the stone’s fibrous structure, which reflects light across the surface to produce the characteristic moving band of light known as chatoyancy or the “cat’s eye” effect. Closely related to the familiar brown and gold Tiger Eye, Golden Tiger Eye is particularly valued for its lighter, brighter colouring. Depending on the individual stone, colours may range from soft honey and muted ochre through to rich golden yellow, often with subtle bands and variations running through the material. Golden Tiger Eye is an attractive choice for jewellery making when a natural yellow or golden gemstone is required. Its warm colouring pairs beautifully with Tiger Eye, Bronzite, Carnelian, Mookaite Jasper, Smoky Quartz and other earthy-toned gemstones. It also works particularly well with gold, antique brass, copper and bronze-toned findings. As Golden Tiger Eye is a natural gemstone, variations in colour, pattern, chatoyancy and markings are expected and make each piece unique.
