Specifications

Just like the calottes, the clamshell is designed to cover knots and provide an ending to be used with jump rings. Unlike the calotte, the clamshell can be added after the piece has been finished and can also be added to the ends of ball chain to provide an ending to be used with jump rings. We recommend that you glue the clamshell in place over a knot or the ball chain to keep it securely in place. Each clamshell is 5mm x 3mm with 0.9mm holes and can accomodate up to 2.4mm ball chain.
