Our retail store is now Click and Collect only until restrictions are removed. If you are legally allowed to travel to Oatlands you can select "collect in store" when placing an online order.
We will email you once we have your order ready to collect.
You can collect Tuesday to Saturday between 10am and 3.00pm. Please knock on the door and we will bring the order to you or you can park out the front and call on arrival and we will bring the order out to you in the car.

Update - June 1
In order to ensure safe social distancing practices within the store we have decided to limit the number of customers in the store at anyone time, with the recent restrictions being lifted we have increase this limit to 6. If you are unsure how many people are already in the shop, just open the door and ask is it ok to come in and we will let you know. We appreciate your patience and assistance in keeping everyone safe.
Shipping continues to be a challenge in both getting stock in and with Australia Post getting parcels to you. We ask for your continued patience whilst we do everything we can to get items here and on their way to you as quickly as we can.

Update - 4th April

Swarovski has changed its cut off dates for orders to Tuesday Mornings - so our cut off for the foresable future, Monday evening is now the cut on the website for items that we need to order in from the Swarovski catalogue. These deliveries are taking anywhere from 1-2 weeks to arrive from when we place the order for in-stock items.
Freight continues to be an ongoing issue, with fewer commercial flights non essential stock is sitting in transit hubs and only moving when there is extra capcity on the few flights that are available. We appreciate your patience as we try to get your special ordered items in.
Update - 25th March
Based on current government advice we believe that for now we are able to continue to keep the retail store open and will continue to keep trading in our normal hours until advised that we need to close. At that point stock will only be able to be purchased online - we can assist with quotes.
In order to ensure our own and our customers safety we are asking customers to observe a 1.5m distance between them whilst in store - to help we do have some markings on the floor.
Furthermore we are restricting the number of customers in the store at anyone time to 10 in order to help with social distancing. To assist with this reduced number we ask that anyone who is not intending to purchase to remain outside.
Stock - we are facing several challenges with deliveries at the moment - so back ordered items may take anywhere between 2-4 weeks to arrive from our stock orders being placed. We ask for your continued patience whilst we try to fulfill orders and special requests for items.
In light of the evolving challenges posed by COVID-19, our focus is more than ever on the health and safety of our community. We wanted to stop and acknowledge our current situation and let you know how Banjos Bead House is handling it.
Firstly, we are continuing to open the retail store as usual, we will keep you all posted if this changes. Based on the current advice from government we can have a maximum of 25 people in the store at any one time.
Secondly, it is always our top priority to protect the health and well-being of all our customers as well as ourselves. We support all the government health recommendations and we hope you can take comfort in knowing we have implemented extra hygiene and social distancing precautions in store and during our website order packing process. The good news is, we are still processing and shipping your online orders daily as normal. We will be sure to update you if there are any changes to our service.
Thirdly, for those of you who are visiting the retail store we now have a bottle of hand sanitiser on the counter for you to use and we do ask that you only touch the beads that you are interested in purchasing in order to minimise risk as much as possible.
A number of customers have recently contacted us in regard to items on Backorder on our website. In order to provide customers with a wider range of items than we could possibly hold in store we have taken a catalogue approach to our website. That is we have included on our website items that we are happy to bring in for customers as well as items that we regularly hold in store. The items listed as Backorder are those that we can bring in for you. If you are interested in a Backorder item you can email us to find out when we will next be ordering from that supplier. If you order a Backorder item we will add it to our order from that supplier and ship it to you on arrival or with your next order.
Where we can we have made provisions to ensure that we have sufficient stock to cover this disruption for the foreseeable future. However, we are experiencing delays in getting stock from some of our suppliers. We will continue to keep affected customers informed as we wait for stock to arrive.
We have just been advised that Beadalon & TierraCast have closed their warehouses and will not be shipping for the foresable future, this will impact our ability to supply items from the catalogue on the website and we ask for your patience if do place a back order for them.
We understand many people are facing some very difficult times, especially small businesses such as ourselves. So we hope we can continue to encourage you to stay creative and touch base with us as needed.
